I know a lot of coaches in the past will split between Boo and Deep South (Classic in Raleigh-Durham); it makes it a lot harder to try to do that. Some will still try to do that, but more than likely people will send a coach to each event and not try to double it.

If you don't give it your best, a team like Connecticut will run all over you.

I'm very proud that this group stayed focused for the entire non-conference schedule and did manage to go through it without dropping one. We had some very close games along the way, but we found a way to win those. Now it's time to step back out and see what we can do.

Everybody's really new too; it's not like there's a lot of team chemistry there.

It's nice to see her rewarded for dominance on the boards. She has been a big key to our successful season thus far.

They're a fun group to be around. You don't want to put a damper on who they are as people. As long as they stay focused and they know the scouting report and they know the game plan, then we'll let them be them.

They're still huge. They're big, strong, athletic. They can make you be a little bit off.

Down the stretch I thought we were aggressive on offense, but the key for us was defensive rebounding.

We talked about having to pick up our intensity on defense in order to make a difference in that game. I don?t think we really did that until the 14-minute mark in that second half, and when we did, that?s when we were able to go on a big run.
